Warmups were weird today because it was very cold. But I met a ton of players. No pictures, though. I met Kameron Loe, Corey Hart, and some other guys that I don't remember, all during batting practice.
This is the inside of the Brewers' dugout. I wish I could climb inside.
Angela was sick and left in the first inning. I was alone with my principles. It was so cold, but I stuck it out. Here are some of the cool Cubs pitchers.
Brauny.
The Brewers scored five runs in the first inning. By the end of the third inning, the Brewers were winning 6-0.
You can't see it very well, but it was so cold that the Brewers wore masks covering their faces.
The comeback you are about to read about is what makes the Cubs so amazing. They don't always come back, it's true. But they usually make a good run at it. You can never count them out. By the end of the third inning, they had cut the lead to 6-3. But by the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cubs were down 7-3.
For one, at the beginning of the inning, they announced that I won the designated driver contest. My name was on the scoreboard, but you can't see it here.
This is what I won. Also, it was just kind of cool. Someone I hadn't seen since 8th grade wrote on my facebook wall that he saw my name on the scoreboard at Wrigley.
Geovany Soto hit a home run, but the Brewers beat us 7-4.
